How to Use Elevator Pitch
The Elevator Pitch feature in Quinncia is designed to help you craft, practice, and perfect your personal brand statement. Whether you're preparing for a career fair or a networking event, this tool provides instant AI feedback on your delivery and content.
Follow these steps to record and analyze your pitch.
1. Navigate to Your Dashboard
Once you have uploaded and analyzed your resume as the first step, log in to your Quinncia account, scroll to the bottom of your student dashboard, and you will find the Elevator Pitch widget.
2. Start a New Pitch
On the Elevator Pitch card, click the START ELEVATOR PITCH button.

3. Share Camera and Microphone Access
The system will prompt you to share access before your interview starts.

Select the microphone and camera you will be using from the drop-down menu and click Share Access.

- In this page, select the type of elevator pitch you would like to use.
- Standard elevator pitches are best taken on a laptop or desktop. Works better with slower/stable connections.
- Real-time elevator pitches can be taken on a mobile device, iPad, or Tablet. Requires a good internet connection!

5. Record Your Pitch
Click the 'Begin Elevator Pitch' button and deliver your pitch. You can toggle the timer by clicking your spacebar on your keyboard. Once you finish, the system will process your video and audio.

- Submit Elevator Pitch for Analysis

- You can click 'See Details' where you will see your analysis populate!

8. Review Your Analysis
After a few moments, your pitch will be analyzed. You will receive a Score (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) based on several factors:
- Content: Did you mention key professional keywords?
- Pace: Were you speaking too fast or too slow?
- Fillers: How often did you use "um," "uh," or "like"?
9. Iterate and Improve
The best way to improve is to practice. Review the specific feedback points provided in the See Details view and record a new version for more practice!
