A step-by-step guide to the resume in-app editor
This is a step-by-step guide on how to use Quinncia's in-app editor to analyze and make edits to your resume right in Quinncia.
1. On your student Dashboard, click ‘Upload New’ on your Resume Widget

2. Click Upload DOCX Resume for Analysis and Edit
3. Select your Word resume file with a DOCX extension and give it a name. Then click ‘Next’.

4. Once your resume is uploaded, in DOCX ensure that you are in ‘Edit Mode’ to make in-app edits

Note: You will also be able to export your updated Word Documents and PDFs directly from Quinncia after you make changes.

a) On your resume, you can left-click anywhere on your resume in edit mode to edit bullet points and content.
b) You can double-click anywhere on your resume in edit mode to open the editor to access basic Word capabilities: font size, font type, margins, spacing, bold/italics, etc.
6. You can edit the margins of your resume by right-clicking on the dotted margin lines to open the Margins box.
7. a) To edit Content flags according to suggested examples: left-click on your bullet points to type in and edit

b) Where applicable, you can also use the Quick Scan feature to check if you have resolved your flags as you edit your document. Quick Scan can let you know if you need further refinements. You can edit according to the examples:

c) You can keep refining your bullet point until you resolve your flag or improvement.

d) The green shading shows that the edited changes have both a technical and essential skill and showcase a strong bullet point. Now you can go ahead and click Reanalyze and Submit

Note: As you Reanalyze and Submit your resume, it is normal for your scores and badge to change as you keep editing.

8. Your edited resume will be reuploaded.

9. You can access your latest edited resume analysis on the Resume Widget on See Details
