Does Spacing Matter?

Consistency is key when creating a resume. You want to maintain consistent section formatting, abbreviations, and even spacing throughout your resume. If you have two spaces between two sections, you want to also add two spaces between your other sections. Spacing may seem like such a trivial detail, but paying attention to the small things is a great way to stand out to hiring managers.

...that can pose problems for the ATS and come across as unprofessional. Do a once-over of your entire resume before submitting it with a job application to double-check that your spacing is consistent!
